G1 Asset Management
Yellowpanda PR is passionate about linking arms with innovative businesses that aim to better and enhance the community.
In 2017, G1 Asset Management – a business providing corporate e-waste collection services, secure data destruction and environmentally sustainable IT disposable solutions nationwide – was looking for a public relations company to help with its media and communications strategies.
Founded on the need for a socially responsible outcome with positive returns for Australian businesses, G1 Asset Management shared many of the same values of Yellowpanda PR and founder Amanda Williams jumped at the chance to work with the budding IT business.
With an aim to increase G1 Asset Management’s brand awareness and credibility, Yellowpanda PR designed a media management strategy outlining exactly how her team of PR professionals would achieve media coverage and boost the reputation of the G1 brand.
To ensure relevancy, Yellowpanda PR came up with this angle: To coincide with National Recycle Week, a Yatala based business has reached an impressive milestone of keeping 500 Tonne of e-waste out of landfill.
After achieving local television coverage with Chanel 7 and appearing in the business section of the local newspaper, Yellowpanda continued working on the following pitch to catch the attention of the national media:
In the lead up to Data Protection Day and following a spate of high-profile data breaches in recent times, one Gold Coast company is educating the business community about privacy and security best practices.

“Instead of just promoting the business and its services, Yellowpanda PR ensures it makes the news hook as strong as possible and likes to link businesses and brands with timely news stories,” says founder of Yellowpanda PR, Amanda Williams.
Founder of G1 Asset Management Joel Prokic says this was the first time he had engaged a PR agency.
“Before engaging Yellowpanda PR, I had little knowledge about the importance of public relations. Now, following the implementation of innovative communication strategies, our brand has garnered significant attention and we see media management as a key driver in growing our business,” says Prokic.
